Simulation of a digital communications system (using 555 timer IC as the transmitter and another 555 timer IC as the receiver with laser as the medium of propagation) operating at 2MHz band
The project will simulate a transmitter and receiver of a digital communications system operating at 2MHz frequency.
The project will also simulate a square wave output of the transmitter and an oscilloscope will plot the input signal, the modulated signal, and the demodulated signal. This will enable us to visually inspect the errors and spikes that are present in the output but not on the input and vice versa. We can also compare the difference between the input and the modulated signal, and we can solve for the average power in each block using the plotted graph of the oscilloscope.
